He's also vulnerable to stuns, so I recommend stunning him right after you kill the add. I only had to use Blessing of Protection once, and that was simply to be on the safe side.
If you are patience and careful, you really should have little problems soloing him as a Paladin. Finally, he can be mined if your skill is high enough. Comment by Very, very easy to solo as a feral druid Comment by Sniff I killed him as a lvl 70 fire mage..
I started kiting him from the Arklon Ruins He hits for but with very slow atk speed, so i didn't have any problems healing him. Comment by Soloed with my Prot war lvl 70, I simple just took care of his adds when they appeared, then stunned him with concussion blow then bandaged real quick.
Repeated this process until he went down, had about 4k health left in the end. LOTP will proc on every hit. Use this to your advantage. Comment by soloed it as resto shaman, just put out fire elem and put earth shield on it, then spam frost shock and heal fire elem some times : , gl!
Comment by Just killed him as a 70 druid, with the worst gear ever! Pulled him near the edge 34,79 and then started zerging, when he spawned an add i killed it, then stunned him and healed up, same thing when second add spawned, then when 3 add spawned i finished netherock off, then last add.. Comment by soloed him as a 68 prot pally. Comment by anyone know where he spawns? Comment by he spawns where he is killed, and then he keeps following his path. Comment by The Crumblers will despawn if you are killed, even if you kill him.
So then you will have to fight him twice. Comment by Shivacode Solo'd as a 70 shadow priest. He's not fearbale, his adds are. Burn him down and then deal with adds. Comment by ranky26 Very easy to solo as a shaman. I did it as enhacement, using my Earth Elemental to tank, just DPSed him down then killed the adds one at a time. Had to heal the elemental a few times. Comment by Soloed as 68 Frost Mage, easy enough, just switch aggro between WE and yourself, used Cold Snap, lost no hp during fight :.
Comment by I soloed him tonight as a 68 prot pally without using LoH. Comment by I found him on 33,79 solo by lvl 68 fire mage. Comment by m3teeh I wouldn't recomment attacking or kiting this guy around the elemental area. They elemantals wander around, and they have a relatively fast respawn rate.
I tried it there on my 70 hunter, and managed to pull in 4 wandering elementals before both me and my pet died. Darn CD on FD. I doubt he's worthy of the golden frame. Yes, yes, the guy is mainly soloable, and he gets constantly weaker with each notch of life that he loses. Have fun dying. Comment by overneathe Soloed easily as 69 hunter. Just kept pet on him and adds when they spawn.
He's hard only in full strength so after the first add it's a piece of cake. Just keep pet healed. Comment by Skaeggis Soloed as a 68druid in bearform, even tho the adds got me afterwards, You dont need them for the quest anymore.
Comment by bbeckley about 3 minute respawn timer, and he did NOT respawn where we killed him the first time. Comment by wolf whenever he collides with a Sundered Rumbler , the Rumbler explodes and turns into it's smaller form when usually killed; a Sundered Shard.
Comment by easly soloed him as a 70 frost mage, realy, it was a piece of cake Comment by dJe I just soloed him with a 69 BM specced hunter. Your main problem is going to be able to deal with little adds which spawn as you're bringing Netherock down. As every elite killing task, you "just" have to trigger all your cooldowns and make sure that your pet is buffed with Mend Pet as you're fighting. You can try a simple trick which worked for me : don't hurt adds with your pet and, at a chosen moment, simply Feign Death.
They'll unspawn. You will meet little trouble maintaining your pet alive, Netherock gets weaker as he's dying. Comment by found him near the path all the way to the east so i could pull him on the path, and easily kite him into area 52, the ogres have him and the adds dead in 5 sec and the gobs trow nets :.
Comment by I'm a Druid lvl Very easy solo-able I Used Stun and heal me, if you don't heal, use bandage The netherock is around, 25, Comment by Soloed as a 70 hunter. He pats all the way around to the west of Manaforge B'Naar, so you can catch him there and kite him around to the road. Only tricky part is getting by the phase hunters, but that wasn't too bad only aggroed one and just hit scatter shot on it and kept running. The crumblers just kind of stayed where they were when they spawned, so I ran back and killed them after the kite.
Comment by milly he only spawned 2 crumblers for us.. Comment by Stilgar 68 hunter. Had just found him when someone did LFG for him, so kited to them and we both got it. Easy as pie. Comment by Manic77 Very easy to take down. We also only got 2 crumblers, though. We tried to get him to reset so we could get some more crumblers out of him, but a "helpful" player came along and finished him off for us. Comment by i am lvl 68 feral drood and he was rly rly easy when add spawn just kill add, then stun netherokc heal ur self and do it all over till u kill him ;D gl!
Comment by spawned 0 adds for me Ignore the boss when his adds pop. The are priority. Keep Wis judged on the add, and have Seal of Wisdom up as well. Once the add is down go back to him. Repeat until victory. Comment by stylewalker Soloed as a lvl 70 Afflication Warlock.
A bit tricky, but i made it on first try. Used one HS and one manapotion. Sent in void and let him buid aggro pretty long. Casted dots and health funel on Void, health funel heals for more then he gets damaged. When the crumblers spawn, they will eventually aggro you due to your healing.
Dot them and keep helath funnel up. If you get more than one crumbler on you, try to HoT them away. I then engaged him and dropped earth elemental totem. I'm full enhancement 15 resto so I pretty much reserved all mana for healing of the earth elemental. I started Shamanistic Rage fairly early.
Heroism was down at the time so this was not employed. The tactic is just to depend on your WF proc and keep the elemental healed - bandage yourself if needed and keep the mana spring up.
Or, if you're well geared, you probably already killed him. If you reserve your heals and use them smartly, this fight is slow and relaxed. Not easily soloable, but doable if you're smart. Comment by Amaunet Dpes anyone have solid coords for this guy? Comment by Soloed at 60 protection Paladin. Comment by Requitas I had to fight him two times because the first time we only had 2 crumblers spawn duoed with myself ret pally-and a 68 rogue. The second time we fought him it was much quicker than the first time and he only spawned 1 crumbler.
It may be that he spawns them based on how long you take to kill him, rather than at set percentages.
Comment by Solo'ed as 70 sword Rogue. Open with Cheap Shot and pop Adrenaline Rush immediately. You will have 5 combo points at about the time he comes out of stun. Hit kidney shot and he's stunned for another 6 seconds. Hit vanish when he wakes up and immediately Cheap Shot him again.
By now he easily should have less than half his life left. When comes awake again, wait for a Crumbler to spawn, hit Evasion and Blade Flurry. Boss should be dead before Blade Flurry wears so you can continue to burn through the Crumblers. Comment by Woyr Soloed as a 70 Fury Warrior.
I engaged him with full HP and rage fight some adds to build up rage then eat. As the little adds spawn, Netherock gets weaker.
I saved up a lot of rage for a massive execute, but I think it took 2 or 3 of them to finally kill him. After that, I ran away from the adds. Comment by Just soloed this Netherock guy, few mins ago.
Comment by Soloed as 70 BM hunter. Sent pig on crumbler, killed it and switched back to Netherock. Rinse and repeat till dead. Let the VW cast Torment twice to build up a decent amount of agro. Then I put up all of my dots The he started shrinking and it was even easier from there. Comment by soloed easily as lvl 70 combat rogue but I missed one crumbler so I had to kill him twice.
Comment by I think I killed him too fast cause he only summoned 1 crumbler for me. Comment by solo'd as a 68 Demo lock Comment by very easy to solo as a 70 shadow priest, I didnt even clear the area first. I basically just kited him around while avoiding all other mobs in the area, although its possible I just got lucky with the other mobs locations at the time Comment by 30,80 is a good coord for him.
I was able to solo at 69 as a MM hunter. I would feign death for a few seconds and the second mob would fade so I could jump up and continue shooting. Pretty simple so long as you have a clear area to fight him in. Comment by Rogyxa Follow this map, He is btw. Comment by Easy quest Killed him at 19, Comment by LvL 70 Prot warrior soloed with ease.
