That's incompatibility, not bugs and the blame rests mostly with Microsoft, who apparently abandoned the idea of making OSs backward compatible with anything as soon as they rolled out Vista.

I wouldn't really say I was lucky, of the 1,ish people playing the game right now, less than 10 of them have posts on the front page about incompatibility.
