Can inquisitors dual wield

I just started a Inquisitor and I have enjoyed playing other gunslinger builds so I wanted to do it with this class as well. I have been getting a number of good low level loot for an Inquisitor so I decided to jump on a new character. A few things I have noticed is I did not see a primary attack replacer in Inquisitor and the chance on hit powers are all different types of damage.

For primary gun attacks, you can most obviously focus on lightning damage if you pair with Shaman Primal Strike, although more competitive players seem to prefer Savagery or fire damage if you pair with Demolitionist Fire Strike. These options push you towards a two-handed build. You could even dual-wield here.

I might try a Tactician as I have a Pyromancer gunslinger. Also, while we are on the topic, how do the Inquisitor combos compare to the classic shooterino variants?

Are elemental damage shooters a thing? Unfortuantly you cant use both at once. Same goes for pistols. Sad realy that we dont get an option to ignore the secondary skills of our auto pistols and are not allowed to just Dakka both at once at those heretics!

I did yesterday, with a plasma pistol and an arc sword but, because of how the skills work I was a little unimpressed and went back to dual wielding swords. Originally posted by Fire walk with me :. So there is no reason at all to use different range weapons akimbo. To be fair I was a pretty low level and playing an assassin character.

However, the system kind of works like this: If I have two swords, I get four skills based on that weapon. If you dual wield separate weapons, you only get the two basic skills for each weapon. I could be wrong and this may be customizable because I didn't get TOO far in, but this was my experience so far. Pros and cons. In the end of the guide, I'll show you both the pros and the cons of this build, because, like every aspect and individual thing or being in the real life, it has to present some advantages and disadvantages as well.

So, if my build helped you or it will help you in any way, I'll be more than pleased knowing I could support you in this diverse and complex game.

Your formatting is incredible. Talk about a build that any player can easily follow along and sink their casting hands into. I adored the concept of this class e'ever since it came out Especially love your playstyle, pros and cons at the end Giving a player perspective and knowing what to expect when and why is always beloved oracular advice.

Thanks for your support! I played this build a few years ago on my old pc and was pure class. It was hell of a fun to see mobs whirling into the Maelstrom and face their death, feeding my Soul Reaver for huge boosts I only played it in silver though, up until level ish or so. Sadly that old pc decided to stop working and lost every save I had. On my new one I only have a Seraphim level 67 that's about to finish silver Will see if I'll make her way into gold or try out again this Inquisitor style.
